OUT AT THE WEDDING (comedy) Feature romantic comedy written by Paula Goldberg and directed by award-winning director Lee Friedlander (Wasabi Tuna, Girl Play). Role: D.J. (supporting) - A New York disk jockey, who is running the finale ballroom dance contest, ends up ruining Jonathan's (Charlie Schlatter) night out in the big apple. Other cast includes Reginald Veljohnson and legendary cult classic Mink Stole (Hairspray, Polyester, Serial Mom, But I'm a Cheerleader).
The film World Premiered at the prestigious 2007 Seattle International Film Festival which is one of the largest and most highly attended film festivals in the United States. www.seattlefilm.com.
Out At The Wedding, is currently making it’s way through the festival circuit and has screened at Newfest NYC, Frameline San Francisco, Philadelphia International, Outfest Los Angeles, Sarasota Film Festival, Giornate di Cinema Italy, Pikes Peak Festival, Fresno Film Festival, ImageOut Rochester, Reel Affirmations Washington and Barcelona International. The film was selected as the "Showcase Film" at Frameline and screened at the historical Castro Theatre.
